The housing market in Houston is growing, and with tax incentives, help with down payments, and low interest rates, this may be the time to act if you are going to get that home you always wanted in this area. There are some excellent choices of 2-4 bedroom homes for $200,000 as well. Many have large yards, and spectacular views of the Houston skyline. If you don't want to buy just yet, and want to make sure that this area is right for you first, there are many different rentals available as well. Many of these are well under $1,000 a month, depending on how many bedrooms you are looking for, whether it is an apartment, or a house, and which area it is located in. If you want to enjoy many amenities, then you should really go with one of the many apartment complexes in the area. These can include a pool, work out area, and even have washer and dryer hook ups in the apartments, or a community laundry facility.

One such rental is the Gables at Richmond, in Houston. This apartment complex offers one and two bedroom apartments, with some units that have two bathrooms as well.
